VRM Trust was established in 1990 as a non-profit social service organization dedicated to uplifting economically and socially disadvantaged communities across Tamil Nadu. Registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, the organization actively works towards sustainable rural development, environmental protection, women empowerment, youth welfare, and community awareness programs. Through continuous social initiatives, VRM Trust has positively impacted thousands of lives by promoting education, health, ecological conservation, and livelihood development in rural and tribal regions.

VRM Trust provides a wide range of community development and environmental sustainability services focused on improving the quality of life in rural and semi-urban areas. Over the years, VRM Trust has successfully implemented numerous social welfare and environmental protection programs across multiple districts in Tamil Nadu. Our achievements include the promotion of women Self-Help Groups (SHGs), watershed management projects, organic farming awareness, soil and water conservation initiatives, tree plantation drives, biodiversity conservation activities, and environmental education programs for students and rural communities. These initiatives have contributed significantly towards sustainable development and ecological balance.

VRM Trust actively promotes sandalwood plantation initiatives in the Panchamalai hill regions and surrounding rural villages. The State Balance Growth Fund initiative focuses on supporting rural communities through awareness programs, welfare assistance, and financial empowerment activities. VRM Trust has organized meetings and loan disbursement programs in selected villages to improve the socio-economic conditions of underprivileged families. The project also encourages sustainable rural development by promoting self-employment opportunities and community participation in welfare schemes.

VRM Trust successfully implemented large-scale tree plantation and environmental development programs across multiple districts in Tamil Nadu with the support of Forest Department officials and local communities. In Pudukkottai district, the organization covered 22 villages including Aranthangi, Ponnamaravathi, Keeranur, and Pudukkottai ranges. In Tiruchirappalli district, VRM extended its activities to 29 villages across Manapparai, Thuvarankurichi, Thuraiyur, and Trichy ranges. Additionally, in Ariyalur district, environmental and tree plantation initiatives were carried out in 15 villages under Thirumanur, T. Palur, and Jayankondam ranges. Through these sustainable development projects, VRM Trust actively promoted tree plantation, biodiversity conservation, green environment awareness, private land afforestation, soil conservation, and eco-friendly rural development programs to improve ecological balance and support long-term environmental sustainability across Tamil Nadu.
